Ok. Its called DKAC, Dynamic Kill and Capture. Exactly like DTAS except instead of a flag placing a team mate it randomly chosen, then he shows up on the enemy radar just like in DTAS. But he can move around shoot. To make things more interesting, you can give him only a pistol with 1 clip, this way you can "cap" him if he runs out of ammo. I mean it could use some refinement but would be LOADS of fun. get to coding! wheeeee! ;)

That would suck because it would always end up being some newb who rushes and gets killed losing you the round.

You would need a good system for voting on a VIP, like what we have been wanting for specialist. But, that sounds like a lot of work, I'd rather see a dynamic capture the CD.

The only problem i see is that, as mentionned by kw, it would depend a lot of who gets to be the "human target". Whether it's a noob or a very experienced player could strongly imbalance the game. Perhaps you would need some kind of rotation to make sure everybody gets to be the target at least once, it would probably be better than a voting system, which could lead to always selecting the same people as vip's.

So how about it be random every turn? And also have a message pop up for like 5 seconds telling them if they die they lose or something.

Grab a map or make a new one, rip out the EAS goals and place one of these ... then you have your game mode already... well, 90% of it, if you have something more in mind ;).

1. whats the point of "capping" the guy in question if u can just kill him?
2. it'll be hard enough being a bright green arrow in every1's radar....now u only get 1 clip w/ a pistol?
3. the game just ends if this one guy dies?

I agree w/ Keihaswarrior in that a CD should be involved. Perhaps, if the person in question dies, he drops a CD, which must then be safely brought back to base by the opposing team.

Beppo you should remove the SniperActors allthough?
Because I think that otherwise people would camp - even without knowing it's bad - in their base. This EASGoal only works without respawns properly I think, am I wrong?
Do you need both objectives - protrecting and killing?

Actutally to anwser those 3 points with an idea. It would be interesting if the guys HAS to survive... so you have to capture him, but you can't kill him... if you do, you lose the round. If he gets killed by friendly fire, his team loses the round (put simply, the team who kills the "spec" loses the round).

Of course, the attacking team can kill all other players from the defending team. Since the guys has only one clip and CANT be killed, once all the defending team is gone, I expect this will give rise to very nice knife fights hehe :p

The only point left fuzzy in my idea is how to cap the "spec"... it might be done in a similar way to DTAS... 2 attackers must stand X seconds within Y meters of the target (server configurable). The target is protected if 2 other teammates are with range.

Imagine a map like RTK. One people is running away 6 people of the other team are chasing him. After a few moments none of them has any stamina left, now everybody is walking behind him. :D
I think DTAS combined with Specialist would make more sense, allthough I'd prefer normal DTAS. ;)
