Yeah, I have a little trouble with my PC.

Ever since I installed a Radeon card my graphics get a little testy and don't want to cooperate. I tried using a program to wipe all the NVidia drivers off after I installed the Radeon but I don't think it worked. Sometimes on maps I get a 'pulsing' when I go thru tunnels/cutouts that makes the game unplayable and the only thing that fixes it is a reboot.

I've been debating forever on getting a new card to get better frames but I've been reluctant because of something you in particular said, that 'your card isn't a magic bullet and you're not get a huge jump in fps just because of a new card'. That seems to be true from what i've read on Toms Hardware, it's a combination of your processor and your card. So I'm waiting until I can get a 3.6G processor (double what I have now) before I buy a new card. /babbling

Your on a r9000 right cuz if you move to like a radeon 9800 pro xt, I think you won't have any problems with framerate in ut200x

On video drivers.

This is how you should do it:
Download drivers for new card
Uninstall drivers by going to the controll panel then add/remove programs and find your driver on the list
Change videocard
Install new drivers
restart
done

If you didn't uninstall the old drivers then if it was me I would uninstall both sets of drivers, reboot, install the radeon drivers reboot, and it should be fine. If that doesn't work something else is wrong.

If you moved from an nvidia card to a radeon, you might want to replace your ut2003.ini file and reset the video settings.

or take the simple route, stick an nvidia card in, install drivers, uninstall drivers, reboot, turn off machine during reboot, take out nvidia, reinstall radeon, voila.
