Who knows what is going to be in their system or even how fast graphics cards are going to be in a year+ when the game comes out.

Wait till the day it goes gold to buy a video card if you're so worried. They aren't going to make a game that only people with $300+ video cards can run.

That should get by reasonably well. Only I'd suggest upgrading to a AMD 64-bit dual core, they are far superior to intel.

That should run, definitely... not sure how well though.

Here's my current setup (new machine as of this past Friday!)

    AMD 64 3700+
1gb DDR (512 pc-2700, 512 pc-3200 - I changed motherboards midway into ordering and didn't both checking to make sure my DDR-2 memory worked)
    eVGA PCIe 6500 (256mb ddr2)
    onboard audio (RealTek w/7.1 support)

Runs UT2004 @ 1024 and generally high settings somewhat well, but having some unexplainable issues. Probably because I got a budget video card for the time being. But the computer runs Quake4 and Battlefield II like a dream. When more funds are available....

    2 or 4gb PC3200 DDR
    SLI PNY 7800's

I'll have those by the end of May.

LOL... umm... big mistake there, no matter what A64 motherboard you choose you're not going to have DDR2 support lol... Athlon64 is all DDR1 at the moment...

Please retract that statement. Disregarding it's lack of relevance, the P4EE is the worst value for money CPU a gamer could get, and it is still no the best for gaming.

you might be able to play the game on xbox360 if the rumors become true and that would save you the money of spending on upgrading to a new pc you just buy the 360 and off you go...uT 2007 AT FULL details and online too to boot!!!

UT2007 is exclusive to PC/PS3. There is no X360 version.

Ok I didnt want to make a new thread, but this is the same question as the original poster, based on what has been made known, should my PC be able to handle UT2K7 well?

    3.2gHZ P4 processor
sapphire radeon 9800pro 256 mb GPU
    1G RAM

Well, unlikely. Borderline lowest settings at 1024x768, maybe...

Your GPU is pretty old now. I doubt it would run it very well.

If unreal 2k7 doesnt run on my setup, I dont care:

    p4 3.2ghz
    1024 ram (ddr2 I think)
x700pro 128 meg gddr3 ram (not the best card but its custom tailored to output hdtv and normal PC monitor simultaneously).

erm, thats all that matters me thinks.

Yes I know, 800*600 everything turned down low, I dont care ;)

Well on the bright side, currently you need four highend 7800gtx's running simultaneously to play the current build of ut 2007 engine, lets hope it will optimize considerably when ready to release to the unsuspecting public

So really its only my gpu would be holding me back. RAM and processor speed should be fine, processor is 3.2 but runs at around 3.6.
I can upgrade my gpu, though im not entirely sure how to change a vid card in a pc, nor would I be sure if a new one would be completly compatible.
But I can find out ^.^

wasn't their a movie that showed UT2k7 running on just one 7800 GTX card, so i'm pretty sure it won't need quad cards (thats ****ing stupid)!
