That thing's based on a script taking various frequently-replied-to threads, it doesn't actually mean anything until we get a "PROCESSED" stamp (which I have not seen in ages)...

If the initial angle was fixed at 35 degrees, it's not unlikely that 7.62x39 would come down at less of an angle than 5.56, since it didn't rise as high. The difference in range is about 100 meters, which could account for the 3 degree difference.

I was farting around at the Norma Ballistics page and the data seemed to bear out pretty well.

ASSASSIN: Go into your "Profile" thing at the top of any BUF page, and then go to "Edit Options." This link should work if you're logged in... at the bottom you'll find an option letting you change your avatar, click on the button and it'll let you upload an image.

Sigh, here we go again... yeah, SVD is nice, but gameplay-wise, what would be the difference between it and MSG-90?

I dunno I'm not really interested in sniper rifles now, just the AK. If I had to pick a sniper rifle it'd be the M24.

Once again, whatever for? MSG-90 will give you same bulk, 20-round mag capacity instead of 5-round, and semiauto instead of bolt action...

I dunno just ot have some more guns I guess. I don't know anything about sniper rifles anyhow.

EDIT: What type of ammo does the MSG 90 fire?

MSG-90 is the sniper version of G3 rifle, chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. PSG-1 is the special, hella expensive version of MSG-90.

MSG-90 is scheduled to replace PSG-1 in Inf, mostly because PSG-1 is not a military weapon, it's a police rifle.

I won't miss the PSG1 personaly, I'm just waiting for the SOCOM and SAW. I read that whole thing about what's to come and i noticed that 2.87 was supposed to be out Jan, but thats ok I would rather wait and get something great than have it rushed and buggy. (Not that that has anything to do with this conversation much like all the other posts.)
