aiming the turret guns

I was having a go with the new M2 turret gun and realised that it is incrediably hard to aim and really you should be able to look streight down the sights.

after a while i tried to crouch bringing my eye level to that of the sights which dident really work because as you move the gun you see the side of the gun. I found this the same as with the guns in the canyon assult level.

please tell me if this will be rectified soon as it is too hard to aim the turret otherwise and i would prefer an mp5 to the m2 at the moment.

For this version it wasn't very practical to do. In the future, when turrets are integrated into Inf, we'll probably use some form of our reticle system where you can only aim slightly. As it stands right now, using the M2 is so powerful (usually 2 shots will frag someone) that letting you aim it with the current UT reticle would really start to be unfair. Just practice with it. It's not supposed to be easy all the time /infopop/emoticons\icon_wink.gif I've mounted it in wide open spaces and just took my lickings like a good DM'er and I'm starting to get oriented with it more.

Is it possible to make the turrent guns like that of HL? I'm only mentioning it because they are easy to aim and even standing up the shield gives you some protection. Plus they are very easy to aim, you just point the turrent and then GIB GIB GIB!!
