We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. Sounds similar to what I experienced when I first time played inf. It was incredible hard to score a kill. First few games, I had no idea where I was killed from. Then slowly, I started to actually see who killed me. After a few nights I was able to get in a few kills of my own :) More or less where I stand now, sometimes I get lucky and get a few rounds off before I'm seen.
Much more important to reflexes is the common knowledge of the maps and to take your time and not rush head first into a burst of bullets.

Offline training will help to get a quicker/better aiming. But of course tactic is completely different.

I was an 90% offliner for quite a while (until I got DSL), I could deal quite well with the bots on General, but I still get my A#s kicked when daring to go online...

Some veterans seem to be way beyond 'godlike' and mapknowledge gained offline is pretty worthless again :(

EAS migth be more entertainig to non-vets than to serve as cannonfodder in TDM :)
