AFA Maplist Additions

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. Drywater has numerous BSP errors and HOMs and probs with the FractalFX textures...

5 mins of play... 2 crashs ...

Critical: UTexture::Lock
Critical: (Texture FractalFX.horizon50)
Critical: URender::DrawFrame
followed by a lock up of the keyboard and mouse then crash

and attached is a 'smaller' HOM ... the big one that crashed my system was directly next to a defender spawn... whole wall was gone to my right then...

The HOM is the white plane that should actually be the glass window on the left... upper part gets BSP cuts too in some angles.

a little addition...

sorry to say that, but the pings and lag on AFA are most times horrible if the amount of players gets over 12 or 14. The ping alone cannot be it even if it sometimes reaches values over 300 and even up to 500 for a sec or two. But the general lag even on mover-less maps like Skopje for example is so high that you cannot fire two fast shots in a row with your M16 on single fire. Sometimes I even have to hit the ActivateAttachment key twice to switch to the M203 or I have to hit the grab key two or three times cause the doors need a full sec or even longer to react.

So, a guy walking down a street about 8 meters away survived my shot.... shot.... shot series and then killed me with a 40mm out of his M203... he not even started to run to take cover... he walked, switched to the M203 and fired... I only hit him one time and believe me on a server without such lag he would have been dead after a shotshot series already. I actually had to hit the fire button five times to release the three shots.

Something is way wrong with this server ... other american servers do not suffer such lag and some euro servers can even handle 20 or 22 players without producing such lag at all. So it definetly has to do with some server settings or the general bandwidth available I guess. Would be cool to check this out a bit.

agreed beppo i play there many times under same conditions. Somthings up with server settings.and oh isnt that a recongamer server.:p
