Can anybody tell me what this means exactly and why does it apprear randomly in my server logs? I know it is related to the olskool mod but I'm not forcing these packages to anybody and it even happens on maps that don't require any olskool files. Here is the error:

Warning: Failed to load 'Class MonsterHunt.OLRajorjack': Failed to find object 'Class MonsterHunt.OLRajorjack'

Thanks!

That warning happens in every single MH server. The reason is not the olskool mod at all.

MonsterHunt made its own version of the Unreal weapons using the class names and clientside code from the olweapons package. Shrimp mentioned that he asked the modder of olskool permission to make and save those weapons into MonsterHunt so that he can replace the Unreal weapons with his. The warning you get is because of a typo. Where, in the CheckReplacement function, he wrote the RazorJack's name as RajorJack and for some reason it compiled the package when it shouldnt have. The only way to fix that is to rewrite the MH code and fix all the bugs and mistakes it has into a new version of it so that your server runs better and smoother... it looks like the guy didnt give a hell about fixing MH whatsoever. or, you can use a mutator that is written correctly and replace it with MH's BaseMutator (MutatorClass=Class'MonsterBase').

There's nothing you can do as it is and you don't have to worry about it at all. Besides, the Razorjack doesn't get replaced with the oldRazorJack and it wasn't even necessary since the Unreal class works perfectly online anyway.

See, I don't mind playing cube looking maps as long as they have something to shoot at or good gameplay. the ones that really get on my nerves, are the ones that "goldengirl" makes. I have seen a couple of her crappy (worse than cube maps) maps where you need to download almost 1GB size of mods in order to play a 400KB map size that makes no sense and doesn't even have an end (a MonsterEnd trigger to finish the map). Now, if you aren't done complaining about MH maps that don't look like they were made by a pro-mapper, go see any of those maps and tell us what you think and the size of your cache from downloading all the custom mods, rofl... that'll give ya something to really complain about!

Anyways, DO NOT install or run any goldengirl maps. That if, you don't want people to think that you're the retarded one for running such crap in the server. These goldengirl maps are the ones that are truely ruining MH...

Some of the really low poly (almost cube only or cube only) maps have a good gameplay if they are done in right way, but there are tons of crap indeed.

What I don't really get is why people play MH or co-op when it doesn't pose a real challenge. It gets even sillier when high-power custom weapons are added (see "unreal co-op" videos on youtube).

Wow, it seems those guys actually spent even a whopping 2 minutes to make the maps! Hooray for them.
But yet it seems this is out of the topic.

well,yeah good question.
maybe some have to got through all the experiences first to know what
makes mh or coop special and what maps or muts are ok or crap.
me as a mh&coop veteran player have no ambitions/goals anymore...i just
enjoy playing visual well made maps by good mappers.also i am just happy to meet good friends online to play and chat with tbh.

Actually a lot of the **** in these videos was made by PCube (Mario map and the gametype at the other server with these UT like faces) and .:..:
This is one side of the unreal coop community, retarded kids running around and using insane stuff and being pervert/annoying etc.
Guess who's fault is that anyway.
Of course by some of the people who brought these mods and people in (some mods being dangerous and containing nasty stuff) and on other side these hackers. Better avoid these retarded servers, or some of the others, because all they can cause is some braindamage or more. ;)

The challenge comes from the mapper. Sure shooting most monsters are easy, as they are usually slow, lacking in dodging or have weak attacks. The puzzle solving aspect of the map can be challenging though.

I'd like to see you complete some of those maps, on your own in a reasonable time limit with limited lives.

I bet you can't.

Maybe that's because it's called BT and not MonsterHunt ;) :D .
