A novel idea...

... to solve all the "i want this but you want that" threads. put them all in!

one of the things that i was always impressed by on the original ut, and less so on the 2k* series, was the ability to customise so much about the game and any server you run. Why can't we have all the weapons, and allow servers to turn on and off each weapon, adjust the damage of each, etc...
You could even have pre-sets for some, so a classic ut pre-set for shock for example, a 2k4 preset for rocket, and so on. instead of just picking the options that 1 small group want to see in there, stick the lot in and let the player decide what goes in their game. that way, everyone is happy :)

Most servers will run the standard game so thats what most people will play and be acustomed to. This would be a good mutator though, just like how you could edit the weapons in Worms 2, except there would be a lot more stuff to customize.

Never mind that most maps are going to be designed with a single weapon-set(ting) in mind.

Altering the weapon-statistics afterwards will destroy the precious balance that exists as few people would be willing to improve/alter more than their own favourite & most hated weapon.

On top of that ... one of the complaints about the UT-series is that there's too much choice (and players aren't willing to learn)
