A new map...

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Hi all, long time no post. I am here to inform you all of my new map I'm building. I've spent so much time working in Unrealed I have it down packed... I think /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
It will be like an artic base. Y'know... with snow and them old artic buildings and other cool stuff... I'll keep you all posted. If there is anyone who wants to give me a hand with this map (ie. Texturing it or adding stuff to it) then let me know. I'd be glad to work with you... I'm thinking of maybe joining the Infiltration team if possible...

maybe so, but we'll see what happens. It's probably a good idea not to anyway, I'm going into year 10 tomorrow and better keep an eye out for my studies... still casual mapping is fine for me /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

As fare as I know there is custom code that can do snow (and rain) already, and in UT there is snow outside the play area. Also there is a couple of Arctic maps out there you can find on Nali city. In one of the maps the snow areas have footsteps sound like it were real snow, and in another there is 3 movers you can ride (but not control) - a heli, a tractor and a snowscooter(?). The names I have forgotten. Then the specific footsteps sound have been disabled in 220, and I can't remember if it works again.
