Just thought that I would introduce myself. I've played Inf for a very long time, although not recently. After losing my third copy of UT I cant bring myself to buy another one so I'm basically holding out till Inf grows into a new engine. I appologize in advance for my poor spelling and grammar. It happens, don't hate me. Excellent mod. I hound all my geek buddies to give it a shot. Seems like a pretty nice forum, nice place to read when yall arent giving eachother hell over the nuances of ballistics, or graphics engines or the appropriate application of liquid armor or laser guns in a video game. Right, so hello and good day.

That UTcd1 is kinda messed up - I installed it on a friend's computer (I've got the disc, it's just across the pond ) and I had to do some funky shyte to get it to work.

More seriously, there are most always some people playing in the evening, CET, I don't know about NA as I dont play during the day or very late at night.Don't worry, skillz is not the only thing that counts in Inf : teamplay, tactics, communication are keys to success, over all on DTAS servers (TDM servers tend to have a more rambo-ish style of play, hence more relying on raw skillz). The Desert Storm map fixes
The Inf official Bonus pack
The mod group Bonus pack
The GD mutator collection
Go to combat maps and check the serve listings to see what maps are in rotation. Some of the Beta maps may be hard to get though so you probably end up getting them right form the game server.
Not only RTFM but read up on DTAS so you have an idea WTF is going on.
Find out from the ladies what binds you will need for some of the mutators
Have fun. If you see (SDS)Ben or (SDS)FUBAR don;t shoot him please. He has enough problems.

If you love the game as much as you say, its almost a duty to re-install and join us online
Its sad but true, its a little 'thin' but during 'regular' times you can usually find a bunch of players to have a good match. (unless you are very picky on the gamemode/mutator-settings)

I'm gunna pop over to BestBuy after class tommorrow and grab it, then I'm back in the saddle. Hopefully I'll get to play some this weekend, inbetween moving and writing my business paper, and studying for my programming exam. Well, on second though, maybe next weekend would be better.
