A couple of questions

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Im making a micro SP test just to see how it works and i have some questions about this awesome mod.

In one of my levels (transition) you spawn in a elevator moving up, problem is that if you die in this level you spawn in the elevator shaft again and the elevator might not be there.
Best thing would be to have a spawnpoint that only work if you have died on this level or something.
Or somekind of Save Spawnpoint so that if you have reached this level you always start at the beginning (this Save Spawnpoint) instead of the elevator shaft.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Never mind this one, It was in the ReadMe FFS!
-----------------------------

In this SP i want to have human guards shooting at you instead of monsters how do i fix that? is it at all possible?

-----------------------------

What files do i have to move to another PC to let someone else try my Micro SP "mod"?
Do they have to have the SP Framework installed or is it enough to just send them the maps?

Thanks in advance,
Wow

Human guards can be coded in either in myLevel or with another package. Let me know if you'd like some help with that, since I've got the FHI monster source lying around.

If someone else wanted to try your SP map, they would need the SP Framework, yes.

Ok thanks :)

Im just trying out how it all works so im not sure its worth the extra time (it seems like its alot of work) to get human guards in. But its good to know its possible for the future.

Speaking about the future, do you guys intend to do the same thing for UT2007?
I have an idea i would like to try to realise and it would be helluva easier with " SP Framework 2007"

Depends if we have machines capable of running UT2007. Upgrades cost money, something which many of us are probably trying to save at the moment for college/university/a car/commodities, etc.

Having said that, I intend to at least try and code up some SP codebase for UT2007, yes.
