BuF tourney is kinda lacking members, only 27 people! . Im sure we can find many more places for this tourney! So many people here that used to play UT, im sure you'd love to play again!. Hell, would you like a seperate BuF tourney for ex-players or something? geeez, just sign up and frag!

Dont care about how good you are, how rusty you are, or how badly you ping, this is just for fun. And if we do seeding we can make sure the good players get spread so everyone can get a load of frags! . Here is the thread where you can sign up for the BuF tourney. Dont Make me pimp this url anymore than I have to! . Damnit, I'll even make this a poll to get even more views of his thread, as everyone loves polls! Now stop bitching on the forums and take it to UT!

27? lot more then that have signed up. looks to me like there is a full roster so i believe i shall not do so. personally i dont want to be left as a reservist. and anyhow i dont like the idea of single game ellimation. best 2/3 to make things fairer, its not like ild take much longer and the players would get a better feel/standing from it that way.

if this changes let me know and i will consider further.

terminal i must not have been clear but in this case single elimination consists of a best of three maps match. winners of the match will progress the other team will not. so, while it is indeed single elimination, there are at least two guaranteed games and i imagine BuFfers will be up for the third game even if the match is already sealed.

when is this? and there are 8 teams of 5 persons each right... so if someone can't make it then what?

Well if last tourney was anything to go by, its 5v5 if everyone turns up, but a 4v4 is fine if someone cant make it. If someone cant even field a 4v4 we just grab some BuF'ers to make the game. Maps are usually random, with the tie being a well known map such as Orbital, cos everyone wubs that map


And bootsy peph has signed up, so your not the only grrl to gossip about the games

however, i think each team will have to handle the attendance issue themselves. this requires initiative on the team's parts. if we go over 40 signups this will hopefully be helped by having reservists or people to rotate among the games.

sure girls are allowed to play why would i organize this otherwise
