I never got around to buying it, so I borrowed my Neighbours CD for a week.

I think I'm going to get the best deal so far. $10.00 from a friend who works at Ion.

Since I really can't buy anything retail in this crap 3rd world country, I did the nasty and downloaded it.

    Total cost: about $22

Why you ask? Well, in this great land, they charge you for not only the internet access (which is shit btw), but also for the time you spend on-line. It came out to about 16 hours, getting the game, it's movies, it's music, etc. That, at 5.5 soles/hour, divided by 3.5 (the exchange rate), comes out to about 22 american bucks.

And yes, if I could buy the real thing, I would.

    Well...

Thanks to your encouragement, I'm happily plodding along mission 3.

Yeah, it was screwed up, but they released a fix before I even downloaded it.

When playing Deus Ex, I find the laser aiming is 100% worthless for scoped weapons

I really don't know the use of the laser with any weapon. I already have a magic crosshair on my HUD, so I know where the bullets will go. Does it add accuracy "in-code" or is it just the red-dot?

I think you can move around and not lose accuracy. I think are the key words here
