    Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain.

It's a kick ass movie, go see him as soon as you can. You won't see life in the same manner after that!

    Go Amélie, go!

LOTR will clean house! I'm half way through the second book and it's the greatest story ever told. I hope they release Part II sooner than the expected X-mas release.
    Please God please!!

Some lady on 850AM radio last night was reviewing the nominee decisions. Here's some quotes I took the time to write down while riding in the back of a volvo for my observation hour in driver's ed... :p

...Lord of the Rings was an incredible waste of money. The books were all horrible and had nothing worth reading. The movie was worse.
This coming from someone who reads cosmopolitan 9 hours a day... go figure.

...why wasn't JRR Tolkien helping direct the movie based off of his creation?
    Because he's dead, moron. :con:

...Black Hawk Down was not a very good movie and should have not been even mentioned at all...
    WHAT?!

(BHD) simply was a disaster! All of the fighting and the civilians dying all the time. You know that never happened, right?
Bing bing bing! We have a winner for the MOST IDIOTIC AND MISINFORMED RETARD EVER ON RADIO AWARD!!

This last quote is from a caller who responded to her BHD comments...
I would also like to (point out?) that when the tail rotor fails on a helicopter, it does not spin around at all. It simply begins to climb in altitude...
Where the hell have you been for the past, oh, 14 centuries? Have you no concept of circular momentum? RETARD.

I'm surprised Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within isn't on there. Granted, I wasn't expecting a Best Picture nomination, but I figured Visual Effects would be in the bag.

What sucks is that I am 90% sure that A Beautiful Mind will win best picture even though it doesn't deserve it. :(
