I was just wondering on the chances of a Colt Python .357 Magnum or .44 Magnum appearing in any upcoming versions. Maybe even a that'd be some intense stopping power, helluva slow reload though ... Dirty Harry style!... hehheh

Who even uses revolvers anymore? Any large military force? Seems that automatics have taken over. I know Ive seen some older cops use them, as well as a backup weapon, but thats a smaller snub nose .38 and the compact glocks are just as small and still hold 10 rnds.

Revolvers are cool and not alot of mods use them. I was sort of glad when SF implemented one. There are plenty of reasons for using a revolver. One being that revolvers have far less chance of mechanical failure.

The SEALs were using chrome plated .357's during the 80's because of the issues of seawater, now of course they use the loverly HK SOCOM series; again, an automatic handgun.

Think about this from a practical standpoint. The INF team has said that guns wont be jamming, so why have a revolver implemented at all? If you were going with pre-ban mags you would have 11(!) less shots than some weapons, even if not, you would still have between 4 and 7 shots less using a revolver depending on the model and caliber. If you dont have to worry about jamming, then who's gonna use it? Therefore if few people or no one is going to use it, its a waste of the teams time to implement it; time that could be better spent on other things.

And of course the caveat: NO new weapons suggestions.

What's the use of having multiple weapons... you could just have one assualt rifle, one heavy machine gun, one sniper rifle, one pistol, one sub etc. It adds color.

Nevermind though, I can see this is pointless me trying to show the merit in diversity *G*.
