3.0 for UT?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. I read in an earlier post that inf. 3.0 is going to be UT only. What's the point of that? I don't want to go out an buy UT just for 3.0! I mean, I love the mod (who doesn't)but I just don't see why you'd put it on UT!

simple- UT offers many great new features that Inf 3.0 will need to be complete. UT is also a LOT better than Unreal, so if you don't want to go buy it, than I'm sorry to hear that.. but to keep 3.0 from taking 4 to 6 months to complete, we need UT-

I have one question for you Waxx....

Have you played the UT demo? Even for 30 seconds. It takes unreal, puts it in a dark corner and f**ks it in a very uncomfortable place. No not a volkswagon.

It is awesome. Play it, you'll see. That is assuming you haven't.

And besides Warrens right, the damage model alone which is incorporated into UT will save heaps of coding time in itself.

First off, the demo kicks major butt. This game will have me addicted for years to come, as it fufills my online-multiplayer craving (not much of a SP guy).
Secondly, imho, Infiltration is worth getting enough that'd I'd spend $50 on UT just to play it. Hell, 3.0 might as well be a stand alone game. Get the demo, buy the game, download Inf 3 (when its out). Life is good /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It's to bad that Infiltration don't ship as a game of its own. If the same amount of energy were put into Infiltration as UT, it would be top secret /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
