Hmmm

Since 21st century toys makes G.I. Joe type toys, (The 12 inch ones, not the 2 inch ones whose crotches break off reglarly.) I thought more people on this board might have heard of them. they make stuff like outfits for your 21stcentury toys figure (if you have one) like desert night ops, and at4 launcher weapons set (Remember this is all 1\6 scale) and stuff like that.

Click here to go to my favorate place to buy them and other schtuff (I know i misspelled Stuff)

I'd love these toys save for one fact... they have that red, white and blue painted all over them. Just not my bag, being from where I am.

They should bring back GI Joe. And I don't mean those stupid foot tall ones. I'm talking the 4" tall ones. And bring back the show too. Back when cartoons were all about infiltrating enemy bases and kicking ass. Not this shit you see on TV nowadays.

yeah, the ORIGINAL GI-joe show, back in the days when the enemies were still COBRA.

not like those crap ones that they had on a few years ago (GI-joe eXtreme, is it just me or does anything with the word "Extreme" in it's name always suck).

Man I still have alot of the G.I. Joe stuff. The figures and the vehicles. My grandmother saved all of that stuff for me in case I had a little boy. Well to bad it's all very played with and beat up. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif ±

They're loved, Dragon... loved. I always thought hand-me-down toys were the coolest, especially the ones that didn't wear old with time, so that your kids could see just how much enjoyment you got out of them, and not really feel bad if they snapped Crazy Legs's head off. Crazy Legs was always my favorite.

Anybody remember the internation GI Joes? Those were the coolest. I had the American, Canadian, French, British, and Australian Joes, they were my absolute favorite. I got the foot-and-a-half ones with the cloth uniforms and the die-cast accesories.

I used to make them "kill" my sister's Barbies. I decapitated them and then buried them in the sandbox

Uh...

Decapitating your sisters barbies? then burying them?
Man, you are messed up.
You shoulkd have put a firecracker on the barbies. Then they would explode about 100 feer in the air and you could tell your sister that she no longer collects barbies, she now collests little plasic barbie giblets. :p

I think that these guys are awesome, I love the SAS Scud Hunter and SEALs, they have a huge amount of detail which is great to see.

I also would love to see GI-Joe come back I loved Snakeye he was such a badass! I used to read the comic all the time, even go the one where they show his face.

I also dig the McFarlane toys, they have such awesome detail, the LeatherFace and Marv (from Sin City, best comic book series ever) are amazing..

SnakeEyes rocked! I still have a ton of GI Joe crap. About 4 boxes full. They were all good until they started going nuts with those bright colors. Whoever heard of a hot pink cannon? /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I think its to "take away" from the realism of the warfare.

That way kids will stop shooting each other in schools.

Of course, I figure if you take away the realism of death you're just associating violence with a distant "play thing" of inconsequential value and thus actually promoting the violence by removing it from any attachment to the real world, but hey, that's just me.
