1st skins

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. edit: this topic use to b called 1st skins but now i have changed it to the dark skarj skin pack i will b takin suggestions on waht to do with the skarjs just ignore the replys tilll u get to what the skarjs look like tih team colors

I'd say it's pretty cool - not really familiar with the original model cause i've never used the nightmare ones (except abaddon) but for a first i'd say it's excellent - one thing though if you make team colours for it you're more likely to get a great response as most 2k4 players are playin team games and skins are pretty useless to ppl without t/c's. Was different in 2k3. Hope that helps meanwhile great to have you onboard and contributing to our community :)

Oh, the second is way too dark though have a lotta ppl complaining that they cant see other players as it is (not me). Either release the first separately or do some more on the second :p

Basically you need to import the red and blue version using UnrealEd. Just open the myskin.utx file and goto file import -> choose the myskin_0 (red one) and import that then do the same with myskin_1 (blue one)... Save the .utx file and should be fine :)

wait a minute so i have to go to upiant do red & blue version of the chars & then import them into unrealed then change the name to (***)_0 & 1 then import that into the game.... wouldnt make differnet versions of the same name overwrite the 1st one? im lost

You'll probably find how in the modelling and skinning forum on BuF (in more plain english). Keep your original skin and import that into Unreal. Then do a red version but don't import it just export the red textures and call it Xbody_0 (where X is the name of your skin) do the same with the blue versions and call it Xbody_1. Then close Upaint and open UnrealEd, open your texture file called X.utx from there you'll see three textures - the original head, body and portrait. Goto file-import and from there import your red and blue textures. When you've done save the X.utx and you should be up and running - Hope that's clearer :)

eventually you should have a file with the following;

xbody, xbody_0, xbody_1
xhead
xportrait

Nothing's overwritten as they all have different names and the game knows that _0 is red and _1 is blue

hooray i figured it out :D but now i will need ur guys help for makin the skins i will present the team colors & give me some feedback here is stelth in all his team glory
