Woot, only one more day til the new Juno Reactor album, Labyrinth

I've heard nothing but great things about this album, so if you are into techno/trance/tribal at all, I'd definitely check this one out.

Something tells me it involves a master. But not a baiter.

I just bought FTU off of iTunes. It's interesting and all, but not quite my cup o' tea. The thing is, I'm all out of e, so the amount of repetition is starting to get to me.

Can you all recommend anything to me that is techno/electronic-ish but has more of a focus on super-nifty and varying percussion?

Nice stuff! I'll look forward to it.

Do you know if it will be released in LP? I would prefer getting the LP rather than the CD...

while stealing music, I accidentally got a 61 minute techno song called:

DJ Therion - Live @ The Crib March 7, 2003 (Drum and Bass Dillinja Adam F )EIB( Shy FX).mp3

I found it to be the only techno song I ever liked, and excellent music for playing TDM online (shudder). :)
as opposed to my EAS/DTAS music, which is: nothing + enough volume to make footsteps audible and gunshots deafening.

Im not exactly sure what all the clubkid-speak in the parenthesis means, but I did download some more 'DJ Therion' songs and they were pretty enjoyable. It's no Burzum, it's pretty good. ;)

If you are into some more hardcore stuff, you may like Plastikman or Richie Hawtin (actually it's the same guy under 2 names... my all time favorite).

He did a show at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (or what ever its called) a few years back. Almost only percussions... he totally abused the 909 during that period.

Got it..... and I love it :) That last song on there is quite a good closing tune.
