Wait, Rankin didn't make it? The only custom/retail character so far (that I have seen) that looked actually like a character from ther UT franchise.

I am really happy to see the Skaarj Model pack here.

I tried it recently and I have no idea why there are so many random sounds in there....like manta sound when dying etc, but overall it is a good pack. Congrats for winners.

I can hear gasbag and brute etc sounds in taunts and when I played as skaarjtrooper I am sure I heard manta sound when dying.

Leo is right, I also heard the Manta deathcry and some Brute sounds. But, anyway, I love playing with my new dream Skaarj Trooper.

I can hear gasbag and brute etc sounds in taunts and when I played as skaarjtrooper I am sure I heard manta sound when dying.

Ok I see what you mean now. I used some of the sounds from the Ut2004 skaarj sound pack so you probably are hearing those. They must have been shared with the skaarj and other monsters for invasion use. :)
If those bother you let me know at my forum and maybe I can fix those up in a later patch or something.

Ok I see what you mean now. I used some of the sounds from the Ut2004 skaarj sound pack so you probably are hearing those. They must have been shared with the skaarj and other monsters for invasion use. :)

Yell2br is brute, laugh1WL is warlord, but warlord is skaarj too, so it doesn't matter, yell3g is gasbag.
And as for the manta sound, that is the dying sound, not one of the taunts.
