Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. I've been helping out on a classic UT mod with a similar premise to this (sidescrolling, singleplayer, shooter gameplay). A mod that's actually been in development for the past several years now even before the sidescrolling mod for UT2kX came out.
Well, you guys know what it feels like. Expect comments like "lack of originality" or "in-the-face ripping of ideas" despite the length of time we've been working on our own sidescrolling mod.

Contra-like, yes (thanks to god no more Red Falcon and her baddies), but there's really good gameplay. Lots of scripted stuff here and here.
I really hope this has a decent amount of gameplay and replayability.
If it does, this will be a day 1 purchase for me.

I don't like the style, it looks all the same "seen before", reminds me some pariah design etc, even the grenade launcher seems about the same.
Looks like it's in the same style as GoW and UT3. Put Marcus in there and it would look right at home in the GoW universe.
it wouldn't sell on a pc ... it's too consolized(tm)
besides ... shouldn't it be in true first person for it to be a good pc-game ?

No, I don't think it is like UT3 graphic style, it is more back to the 2005 era in visual terms (it really reminds me pariah), that is it seems like "seen that before".
But who knows, maybe it will be fun, however I still like perhaps the 2D sidescrollers better, but hard to judge from that.

Side-Scrollers aren't? I played some of the best ones on the PC. Amazing stuff.
Especially after Epic's Jazz Jackrabbit games, I can't wait for this.

To be fair, Chair itself has only made one other game and it was also an Xbox 360 exclusive, so that isn't terribly surprising.
Game looks awesome. I would buy this on PC in a heartbeat, possibly even for $30 In all seriousness, though, the game doesn't look like Pariah at all to me.

Gamers put them on the map, not PC. Go buy a 360, but if you don't own a 360.... why are you trying to put the blame on something else than yourself for the simple fact that your love for games wasn't pure enough to buy a next-gen console, because SweetMama
