I can't get unreal2 editor to actually scale a terrain I built. UT2004 is the same. Is it NOT possible to scale brushes in Unreal2? I need to brush scale x=3 y=3 z=9. When I do it, it shows it scaled correctly in editor, but in game it's still 1x1x1. I could maybe use terraedit and scale=1152 and x=192 y=192, but I am pretty sure that if terraedit does NOT crash with that type of scaling. Unreal 2 editor WILL crash.

Is there any way to get the game to brush scale correctly in game?

nevermind I'll just dump this stupid game because the editor is broken, and go back to UT99 and the new refurbished Unreal 1, because they are obviously superior products. Besides which the movement for Unreal 2 sucks big time, I would never be happy playing my own maps even though the graphics are stunning, the story kind of sucks, and the character movement is horrid.

Or maybe this site actually isn't up and running as a forum anymore and I accidentally signed up to ask for help on a forum that isn't being used anymore. In which case sorry for wasting anyone's time.

Yeah, this forum is pretty much dead ...

I never had problems with the editor, so maybe it's end or OS / hardware you using. Try to delete UnrealEd and User ini's, make sure you have the latest patch and run again.

Well, I should've noticed this whole tread a bit earlier. And yes. BUF isn't dead but got totally Off-Topic. Will still post Unreal content here too.
