Can you upload meshes, too? Because beta Brute, bigman skin is completely misaligned to real one.

No I can't, no way to export them and as I said Gildor refused to cooperate, while he could export them.

What about releasing all .uc / script files?

There's not much to the scripts, basically only skaarj is really scripted (plus bit of brute and krall but they have no projectiles compared to skaarj), there are some commented lines, but there is not much in there really. It's pretty much just a tech demo showing some models.

Can you still release them? Just for me? Really I'm looking for Bigman and HUD script and their defaultproperties.

No point, unless you want a garbled mess of unfinished broken code that spams your log with random bs

I'm looking for Bigman and HUD script and their defaultproperties.

I've already looked into the HUD and there literaly isn't one, It's some weird LevelInfo stuff that handles the status bar instead. There's no code to display number representations of health, armour or ammo and no code that controls where the "HUD" sits, it's just.....there. I'll export all the scripts tomorrow and have another look thorugh.

As for the Bigman, he's literally a brute but with slight differences:
  • Half coded
  • Scriptwarnings galore
  • Almost everything is logged, causing major logspam and 100mb+ log files
  • Missing most of his final animations
  • No sounds
  • Has a different texture

That above list pretty much counts for everything in that beta too

There was someone on Unrealsp who remade the brute skin, but hasn't released it so far.

How did he got the editor working in that beta? For me it says "Run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object"

The unreal.ucx is needed, its a temporary one since there was none, it contains source classes, basically only those from the map:

Just saw the extracted beta textures, i thought the original female character looked pretty cool (wonder who's face she's based on :) )

cuz it was so awesome i edited its uvw so it fits on female1, i think its pretty accurate, except for the face (which i had to alter a bit, cuz no way it would ever fit)

if anyone gives a damn i'll upload the ingame version.


As for the editor, just tried the one in leo's link
it didn't work over here in win98(vm) or xp 32-bit, i got the same error about activex component blahblah, even updated vb runtimes, copied them from my other partition, same problem.
It did work instantly in xp 64 bit and win 7 64 bit (all on the same system btw).
