I shave my head by choice. I'm not balding at all. It's just easier to comb, as in, I don't. Though I had seriously long hair in highschool, did 75% of the goth thing for a bit (no makeup for me). Was a pain in the ass to keep from turning into a rats nest.

I've always had long hair, never had to brush it. It depends on your hair type ofcourse but I personally prefer long hair because it requires less upkeep for me than short hair.

Sounds like me, except for the goth part. I was more like metal/hippy, lol; hair past my ass crack.

Now I shave it twice a month.
