Regardless of which side wins, what is more important to note is which side will **** all over M rated videogames and support the notion they should be treated like porn, hidden away in some back room from the public eye at your local Gamestop or Best Buy.

I guess tomorrow we will find out. Hopefully common sense will prevail over lolitics. Then again some people are retarded, they need the government to tell them what to do or how to control media they see rather using their own willpower to decide what they or their kids should watch and play.

Also to keep things classy

Well one more day left. Are we going to get ****ed in the ass by the Democrats, or are we going to get **** on by the Republicans?

Are we going to have a gridlocked obstructionist Congress, or are we going to have a Congress that will roll back the progress that we have made (that has never truly been able to prove itself yet) to the failed policies of the status quo?

The status quo of which you are afraid of the failed policies are those currently in charge...the Dems. Did you mean to say, "status quo ante?"

gridlock is better than driving off a cliff with one party rule...

Yeah, good catch. I meant the "status quo" of when there wasn't much change or progress in rectifying the problem.

One of the Democrats in Congress admitted they were going to see big losses and expressed his hope that now Republicans will be more interested in cooperation.

Was this because Democrats were being cooperative before? Cooperation in Congress is like sheep in a wolves den.

I have to tell ya, the lines were bull****. I mean, here I was in line for all of, well, there was no line. I got in and then I got out, all in about 10 minutes or less. As much as the pleasantness was of getting in and out so quickly, I have to admit that it was rather disturbing. What the heck is with folks, knowing this is their one chance for their voices to be heard? I am disappointed in the low turnout so far. Sure, many voters did the early voting thing, but I heard those lines weren't very long either.

My understanding was that the Republicans were putting the brakes on pretty much all the big pieces of legislature in the last two years. Which is partially why there's been a large clamoring for removing or altering the filibuster in the Senate.

I have a feeling that there will be a lot of procrastinators going to the polls at dinnertime.

With some of those pieces of legislation, the republicans came up with their own bills... that weren't even considered. I just think it's silly for either side to be talking about co-operation, because it's obvious there is no desire for that in there right now.

I didn't go out because I know we are screwed no matter who goes in, I really don't give a ****. All sides lie one way or the other, it is all about who bull****s the best.
