apparently that is what this thread has been speculating about. with no end in sight, and no results. more on this at 11.
Well one more day left. Are we going to get ****ed in the ass by the Democrats, or are we going to get **** on by the Republicans?
Are we going to have a gridlocked obstructionist Congress, or are we going to have a Congress that will roll back the progress that we have made (that has never truly been able to prove itself yet) to the failed policies of the status quo?
gridlock is better than driving off a cliff with one party rule...Are we going to have a gridlocked obstructionist Congress, or are we going to have a Congress that will roll back the progress that we have made (that has never truly been able to prove itself yet) to the failed policies of the status quo?
The status quo of which you are afraid of the failed policies are those currently in charge...the Dems. Did you mean to say, "status quo ante?"
You mean like when the Dems put about 80 Republican sponsored passages into the health care bill and balanced it out with over 1000 Democratic sponsored pieces? Was this because Democrats were being cooperative before?
Was this because Democrats were being cooperative before? Cooperation in Congress is like sheep in a wolves den.
I have to tell ya, the lines were bull****. I mean, here I was in line for all of, well, there was no line. I got in and then I got out, all in about 10 minutes or less. As much as the pleasantness was of getting in and out so quickly, I have to admit that it was rather disturbing. What the heck is with folks, knowing this is their one chance for their voices to be heard? I am disappointed in the low turnout so far. Sure, many voters did the early voting thing, but I heard those lines weren't very long either.
I think dems and reps are one entity, schizophrenic but the same.
