UDK Something Unreal

This is a trailer I've worked up using the UDK, it shows what the original Unreal might look like with today's standards in graphics in games.

It took me approximately four days to complete, its not perfect but I hope you enjoy it.

Yea I know I put my own little twist on it, mostly because a desert is alot less work then a jungle

Hmm...perhaps Epic might take that to heart and make a UE3 remake of Unreal 1 official. Who knows?
After all, Valve remade Half-Life on the Source Engine, so same thing could happen with Unreal 1 on UE3.

Not a fan of this one. Visually, it looks very good (UDK owns). But Unreal-like? Only the sounds did that effect :\

Ok, it didn't crash in a desert, more like a mountainous jungle area... but still, excellent atmosphere. :O

After all, Valve remade Half-Life on the Source Engine, so same thing could happen with Unreal 1 on UE3.

Well, changing only the shaders for water adding a few physics and changing the lighting slightly while keeping the rest as it was isn't what people would expect for an Unreal remake ... and it wasn't what people expected from HL Source (hence the disappointment).
