Other Borderlands testers needed (Custom SP)

Looking for some people to help test out a Borderlands level.

A little about the project:

This level is part of a much larger project I'm under taking. I'm making an entire SP campaign for Borderlands, this level will basically be a central hub for a lot of quests and missions to require them and turn them in at, sort of like newhaven was in the game itself, but on a much much larger scale. The map doesn't have any enemies, and won't have any enemies as thats not its purpose.

I'm looking for anyone and everyone who is interested who owns Borderlands on the PC and is interested in testing for bugs/glitches. If you are interested send me a PM on the forums or feel free to send me an email.

This sounds interesting...

Will this be installable like the DLC's and can reach the "new" area through the New-U stations much like Jacob's Cove & Underdome?

I just wanted to drop by..

1- Looks very good.
2- Good patience.
3- Supportive on a small community game.

You've got patience man. Much more than I do.

I had done decent stuff with Dark on Borderlands but the envy to keep up completely dropped after their first DLC. Developing with unofficial tools had me worried every time a new DLC/patch was released and the community started to slowly part ways at the same time = complete lost of interest. :hmm:

But you sure keep your words.

lol, I tried to get a job back at Gearbox for a long time but I gave up about a year ago. I've had a lot of people ask me the same thing but this isn't an attempt at getting a job there :p There are a number of reasons I'm doing this.
1. Need more SP stuff on my Portfolio
2. To teach people what goes into making levels by broadcasting my screen while I work on the levels and answer people (A lot of people are entirely clueless)
3. I love making levels and Borderlands is something new and fun :) Honestly having more fun making maps for this than I ever did making maps for UT3 :p

Great job...so glad to see this....It would have been great if these tools were included earlier so that a community could have developed around this game and modding for it!

If you're working on a hub based campaign, it might be interesting to end it with a final fight at the hub level... a massive wave of enemies triggering once you complete all the missions, or something like that... I was disappointed to not having to defend New Haven from an attack by bandits or lance, it looked like a fun place to defend, and Borderlands really needs more defensive gameplay and anything different from 'get quest - go to x place - kill - drive back to hub - get reward'... :p

Might be interested in testing this once several levels are made, looks awesome so far! :tup:

I've two questions:
- What's the minimum level?
- Are addons required?

It's an actual brand new SinglePlayer campaign. So it will start out at level 1. The plan isn't to have players take their previously made characters into this and play, its to have a completely new singleplayer that starts from level 1, although anyone will be able to jump in with any level character they choose :p

No addons required. Only using 100% stock stuff, no official DLC content being used at all.

Might be interested in testing this once several levels are made, looks awesome so far! :tup:

Will definitely need a lot of serious testers once all the missions and levels are in place :)

Ive had boderlands for a while and i would be glad to help you test if you need me. ive tested games for years. i'll go and re-install BLnow just incase.

BTW very dam nice work man.
