Hey thanks for the quick replies guys. I did both of those things (removing the extra *.ini files and changing the audio device) and it starts up now. The face texture in the character appearance screen is weird but in sp it looks fine I think. I have to play around with various settings but I think it should be fine. As long as I don't get the weird stutter issue due to the clock speed of my dual core I should be fine...

Oh my, another year passed by. I should finish that before I make another year long break. :D

Ok made some process, pics:

I also plan to provide good download links for the stuff. Thanks to Biene_Maya for providing download links on her site (www.mhoelscher.de), but you have to register and that can scare some people away.

Did you change the NVG overlay texture somehow? I really don't like the new one. Although it looks futuristic and cool, it's not realistic at all. Just my two cents :p
Actually these NVG's are rather outdated, somewhat from the 90's I guess. I actually wanted to switch back to the original, but somehow missed that on release. I think about to make a little update to PsyTex (patching some files), not sure if that's a good idea, but I might then get the NVG's back to original.

For the rest, awesome work. I like the new textures!
Thanks :)

The SIG551 requires to have the psytex mod patched (and we speak about the largest package). The problem with the SG sight is, that it uses the same texture part for all sides (rear, front, top and sides), hard to really fix.

What about some UK Woodland:

very cool camos

the best thing about the textures are the black assault vests they look ****ing good.

My only request is for a re release of a repacked psytext with all the textures and integrate it into inf without the need for separate batch files/folders

post this in cerebro aswell ur bound 2 c it there

You mean that the original files are overwritten in the original location so that vanilla INF turns into Psytex INF? That would reduce the amount of files I guess, but also screw things up, so standard INF isn't accessible (whatfor you might ask, but I guess some servers still are oldschool [the one that isn't up all the time]).

Personally I don't care about vanilla INF, as I have all the camos in the UT/Psytex/Textures folder and everything System related is in the UT/System folder and I start Psytex with a modified launcher, which doesn't lose all the changes made to the game settings (like it was the case with the .bat launcher, all the changes had to be made in vanilla INF to carry over to Psytex).

I only made the textures, but the coder is Carpetsmoker, so if at all, he can answer your question, as I'm not the coder guy. I guess his answer will be "not necessary" or something like that. I don't know if that would be the right thing to do, depends on what other people think about it.

Well, I have more than 30 camos now (not every is new, some are variations of same camouflage, but different accessoires, for variety sake and other reasons). Few more to go.

Here the finished Tri Color desert camo:

Other recently made camos are ACU, Multicam and some more. If I can release it this weekend is unsure, but chances aren't bad this time. :D

@Corporal_Lib [BR]:
I can't promise, right now I try to finish what I got so far as fast as possible and spit it out (for god damned sake). If not, I might see if I make that camo later.

Null sweat, Psy! I didn´t noticed you´ve been planning to release the latest version so soon, so I wouldn´t mind to see the brazilian in a future patch (as I acknowledge there isn´t enough time to do it, without compromising your schedule)

ACU and Multicam are a nice add to the remake of all the main "official" camos... great job, man!
