Okey doke. I've taken thousands of photos recently. Been on a complete and utter binge. These aren't the best or my favourites of the bunch but they are a random selection. :)

Damn S_D, never seen anything like that last shot, mostly due to that HDR effect. I'm guessing you used magnification for that duck picture? From the first picture it looks like a mountain and sky. Nice coloration in the background.

Yeah i'm still very new to this HDR business, i keep overdoing the post-processing a bit i think. The car came out nicely though i thought, especially as i took the 3 brackets free hand rather than on a tripod as in the last pic.

For the duck i was using my 55-200mm lens, according to the raw data i shot it at 200mm zoom. 1/400sec at F/5.6 ISO 800 :)

What's with the ressuscitating old cameras :p ? Does analogic still have a breath of life in it ?

That thing down to the left, right next to the glass, is it a cam or what is it?

Yeah, it's a TLR camera of some kind. I forgot which brand theirs' is.

Oh God yeah! Old cameras are fun. They are made out of metal, keep working after a few years, and are super fun to shoot with because you have to configure everything. I know you can do that digitally too, but film gives you really nice colored shots that look different than digital. Don't get me wrong. I like digital too, but digital is too calculated and perfect sometimes. Also, shooting with different films give you different looks. You can't do that with a digital camera really (outside of heavy post processing and still you can tell which camera shot it). Pick up a film camera and shoot. It's pretty fun. =)

Anywhere But Here
These are superb. I like the last one best.

Here is one of my latest images. The image is derived from a base photograph I took near sunset a few days ago. I used the "sunset" filter in my DSLR when taking the shot. I imported the RAW file into Lightroom and made some tweaks. I then moved the file over to Photoshop and added in the water by using the Flood tool (3rd party tool) and a bit of post-work.

We visited the Bridge of Feugh today, where you can see salmon jumping up the waterfall as they head upstream to spawn:

I don't know, my father used to grow strawberries and they looked much like that, but weren't modified like. Strawberries sort of taste like water anyway :p
