I'm doubting they're trustworthy if there's no result. Googling did point out there's a trojan that goes by TSSD.exe, but might not be relevant

they all end in SSD.
has your friend ever used the program Spybot?
it's an adware removal utility.
it used to implant DLL's that were labeled "xxxxxxx.SSD" because the full title of the app is Spybot Search and Destroy.
but I haven't used it in years.

The folders were empty.
Just need to find out what program made them.
Then kill that program.
