UT2k4 Horrible Performance on New Quad Core

I'm just about to move onto UT3 but I noticed recently that UT2k4 runs like crap on my new Dell Quad Core. I have a:

Dell Precision T5400
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU
E5430 @ 2.66GHz 2.66GHz
3.00 GB of Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512

The game doesn't really run consistently slow. Instead it hiccups hard ever 2 to 3 seconds. I'm assuming I'm not the first person to run into this issue.

I've got very similar issues with 2004, but with a Q6600 and an 8800 GTX.

Sorry for the wait. Yesterday I installed the latest drivers for my card and the problem was solved! I can give more specifics tomorrow when I back at that computer.

Oh, for christ's sake, people! Tell me WHAT OPERATING SYSTEM AND GPU DRIVER VERSION you are using!

You are probably suffering from the 8800 + XP = UE3 stutter issue.

Can I point out the fact they're on about UT2004, not UE3 games.
