JB-LostCanyon-v2
As already mentioned in this thread, the great mapper Sludge left behind two maps which were never 'officially' released.
Here is one of them. Some of you already know this map, it is running on some servers. However, some things in the map needed fixes, or finishing touches. When contacting Sludge, he mentioned that he abandonned UT mapping completely, and he said it was OK for me to do the required changes. So here it is: JB-LostCanyon-v2-beta1 Changes from the last known LostCanyon version: - Changed loading screen - Changed screenshot into material sequence - Rescaled some brushed (to get rid of HOMs) - Changed some Mesh positions (to remove HOMs and avoid stuck players) - Changed arena timings - Fixed Zone portals, added Zone Info - Fixed some labels - Added some blocking volumes - Remade JBPanorama - Added some DamageVolumes - Added assault paths - Added Defence points Changes since JELP version (yes, there was one): - Fixed Arena lighting - Added some local messages - Put in the open jaildoors of the [B1] version - Changed assault paths - Added more blocking volumes |

Well, you can change the properties of the default packages by duplicating them into myLevel...
Right-Click the staticmesh > Convert > To Static Mesh > name it > then do what Rev said for custom meshes.

You can climb on just about everything on this map, but I couldn't find anywhere that was well hidden.
If you want to keep people off the top of the jail you'll have to extend the pain volume to include the edges. It's possible to xloc on top of the cliff near the lightning gun. The map shows where exactly. |

Well, for the door. It just doesn't work ok. I.e. the door goes through the rock..can u just make a forcefield like in oasis?
Oh, and good luck with the blocking of the stone. |

Cooldude? Can you make a nice crack in the rock for the door to open into to fix the door dissapearing into the rocks?

Yippee Thats what I wanted to hear, I right now have got about 25-30 jb maps on my com and 'bout 40% of them is beta.
So I think some extra would not hurt
