Der Release des Mods Jailbreak wurde jetzt offiziell für den 26.Mai angekündigt. Dabei kommen die gekillten Team-Member in ein gegnerisches Gefängnis, und man muss es schaffen sie dort wieder zu befreien. Gelingt es, ist das der Jailbreak! Das Ganze erscheint sowohl für UT2004, als auch für UT2003 und hatte schon zu UT-Zeiten große Erfolge in der Fangemeinde. Mit neuen Maps und der aktuellen Grafikpower wird es sicher daran anknüpfen können. Es gibt auch schon einen ersten Eindruck in Form eines Jailbreak Llama Intros auf der offiziellen Homepage.

Release of the Mods Jailbreak was announced now officially for the 26.Mai. The gekillten team Member comes into an opposing prison, and one must create it her again to release there. Succeeds, that is the Jailbreak! The whole appears both for UT2004, and for UT2003 and had already at UT times large successes in the fan municipality. With new maps and the current diagram power it will be able to tie surely to it. There is already a first impression in form of a Jailbreak Llama Intros on the official homepage.

L'équipe vient d'annoncer la date de sortie du mod Jailbreak 200x pour Unreal Tournament 2003 et 2004... et c'est pour ce mercredi 26 Mai.

Pour vous aider à patienter jusque là, RevBillyG vous a préparé un petit cadeau : le Jailbreak Llama Intro (l'introduction de Jailbreak). Vous trouverez les liens de téléchargements sur leur site.

Voici un petit résumé du gameplay pour ceux qui ne connaitraient pas encore (les pauvres ^^) cet excellent mode de jeu :
"Le but est d'enfermer l'équipe adverse dans une cellule. Vous avez donc 3 objectifs à tenir : fragguer vos adversaires pour les envoyer en prison, surveiller la commande d'ouverture de votre prison pour éviter toute évasion, et bien sur tenter de libérer vos coéquipiers pris au piège."

If someone told me that JB shipped with the retail version of UT2K4 I would sure believe them. JB fits to the entire concept and plays and looks real good!

Un classico di UT1 ritorna in tutto il suo splendore contemporaneamente per UT2003 e UT2004: Per chi non lo conoscesse (vergogna!) Jailbreak è un mod che si basa sul gioco di squadra. In poche parole si gioca in speciali mappe create appositamente per questa modalità e i due team avversari devono riuscire a uccidere tutti i membri del team avversario. Ogni volta che uno dei membri viene ucciso viene trasportato automaticamente in una speciale area della mappa sigillata (una prigione in pratica) e dovrà attendere che una delle due squadre venga mandata in gabbia completamente decretando quindi la vittoria o la sconfitta del proprio team. Un mod semplice ma che dà abbastanza assuefazione, ogni fans di UT deve provarlo almeno una volta

A UT1 classic returns at the same time in all the its splendor for UT2003 and UT2004 : For who it did not know it (shame!) Jailbreak is a mod that it is based on the square game. In little words it is played purposely in special created maps for this modality and the two opposing teams must succeed to kill all the members of the opposing team. Every time that one of the members comes killed comes automatically transported in a special area of the sealed map (a prison in practical) and will have to attend that one of the two squares comes completely sent in cage decreeing therefore to the Victoria or the defeat of just the team. A mod simple but that it gives habit enough, every fans of UT it must try at least once

One of the most respected modifications for Unreal Tournament 1999 is now back for Unreal Tournament 2004!

Jailbreak is a product of Team Death match, Last Man Standing & Capture the Flag mixed together. The main goal of the game is to kill all the enemy team. When they get killed, they are sent to jail, which is a special closed room in the map. Once the whole team is sent to jail, the team still free is awarded a point, while the captured team gets painfully executed (and you are taunting on the celebration screen).

Jailbreak also features the offence / defense aspects of Capture the Flag. As a free team member, you can go in the enemy base and step on the release switch to release your hold team! Of course, on competitive games, you encounter some resistance at the enemy release switch. Quite entertaining when you are the last free player of your team!

Another way of getting out of jail is by winning randomly assigned arena match, where you will battle one on one against a jailed enemy player. You win, you are free. You lose, back to jail!

The maps are very well designed for all the aspects of Jailbreak. One of the maps is a remake of the Double Domination map "Conduit".

Bots still need some work, but they are able to hunt down, release your team, and defend their release switch. One of the cleverest ways of controlling your bots is by using the bundled "bot aggressively" meter, located in the upper left corner of your screen.

This mod is so popular that even DrSin from Epic has been seen more then once on Jailbreak servers enjoying a game or two! When a mod receive a "not bad!" comment from Epic Games, it means its total ownage! Download now and get blown away (and then jailed)!

I have received proof that Jailbreak 2004 has been shown live on GiGaTV last Friday, 28th of May ... and there is a very small chance they may replay that show today (Monday 31st) from 22-24 CET as they may not do a live show because of today's public holiday (here in Germany). So tune in and check it out.
