  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I was looking at some comparison stuff, and noticed something strange. Some company was offering performance equal to Alienware and Falcon Northwest, at about half the price of the falcon, also substantially lower than Alienware.

just checked their website, 1.9gig AMD, 512mb DDR RAM, GF3 500Ti, DVD, CDRW, 19" monitor etc. All under $2000! I nearly identical falcon system costs $3995, and only has a 1.8. The comparison I saw was using a 1.4 on the ABS and was still almost as fast. The alienware with the same setup is about $2500.

I'll be building my next computer, but I was just wondering if they are as good as they sound. Definately something I'll be reccomending from now on.

you can get a value system too, for example:

AMD Athlon XP Processor 1600+
Gigabyte AMD 761 GA-7DX Motherboard
256MB DDR SDRAM PC2100
40GB IBM 7200RPM ATA 100 HD
Pioneer 16X DVD-ROM
Lite-On 24x10x40 CD-RW
64MB Leadtek nVidia GeForce 2 TI AGP w/TV-Out
17in Hitachi CM615 (16.1 in viewable) Monitor
Sound Blaster Audigy w/1394 Connector
Creative Inspire 5.1 5300 Speakers w/Subwoofer
Windows XP Professional
In-Win ATX Mid Tower 300Watts Case
3 Years Limited Warranty Standard
PCI 10/100 Base-T
$1200

In-Win Cases, MSI, Gigabyte, or Abit motherboards... It's hard to find a good company that sells systems with name-brand parts. No wonder their systems score so high.
