Can someone help me connect to games?

I just got this game and when I try to enter a room, it says Connection Failure. I am currently running on a cable connection. Anyone know what could wrong? I try different rooms and I get the smae Connection Failure message. Any help would be appreciated.

What patch are you running. Bonus packs installed?
Need at least patch 432 to connect to most servers these days.

I think you mean irc chat.
The default server list might be outdated.
Try to connec to to irc.enterthegame.com #planetunreal

If you mean servers get patch 436 as said. You also get a "connection failed" if the server is full
