How do you get the basic "feeling" that you want out of a map?
I'm trying to do a TF2: Brother Hood of Arms map, the one with the desert town, from screenies, and I can't seem to make my map closed in, or big enough, or even the right layout to give me the right "feeling" of the maps I see in the screenies. Can someone give me some tips?

Time.. thats the Key element, Spend time.. Adjust the lighting. and SOUND also... Sound in my opinion can make or break a level.
Also scale plays a big part.. yes that dreaded word Scale! Look at those screens and look at the hight of the player in the screens and adjust the scaleing of the map to a Inf player model.. But after all that Time is the main thing.. The more you use the editor the easyer it will become.!
