My Controls

Dunno if there was another thread about this already, but it seems that I'm one of the few using the controls I use, so here they are:

Walk Forward: Up
Walk Backward: Down
Strafe Left: <--
Strafe Right: -->

Jump: Numpad 1
Crouch: Numpad 0
Walk Slowly: Right CTRL

Fire: LeftMouse
AltFire: RightMouse
Next/Prev Weapon: ScrollWheel

Well, I'll now shut up and don't bother you with my speech and keybinds

Anyway, using the 1 for jump and 0 for crouch is so inbelievely handy, I don't understand how people manage to use the space or whatever for it. The 0 and 1 are just right next to the arrows.

Or do american keyboards don't have a numpad??

There have been a few other threads talking about favorite keyboard setups. Do a search and see what you can find.

Most people use their numb pad for binds from what I've seen. Movement keys that are popular are WASD or something to that effect.

Go ahead and post your speech and keybinds... that's where the most interesting customizations come in. There was a thread recently about favorite taunts.. there's some good one's in there.

Mine is very simple

You got the arrows, fowarf, back, and all that good stuff.
Then theres the mouse. Left is for prme fire, right is for alt fire> Now the mousewheel ias Key to my skills as a UT player. I am constantly switching between weapons, with no intention of using the weapon i jus switched to. I should post a demo of me, cause im sure i switch wepons more then anyone else. If i click my mouse wheel, i get my translocator.
If hit delete(right above my movement keys, i get the shock rifle
If i hit end, i get my RL.
Ctrl is jump, i spam that nutton with my pinkie quite well.
Right shift is crouch
Insert notifies my team that thier is someone sniping me from red base (quite useful in Face)
Home notifies my team that there is someone sniping from blue

and thats all i need.

well, just to give others some ideas, I'm posting mine here... using MS Intellimouse Explorer.

Forward = NumPad 8
Back = NumPad 5
StrafeLeft = NumPad 4
StrafeRight = NumPad 6
Jump = Numpad 7 / Numpad 9 (may switch to using my thumb keys like Numpad "." cause my thumb does nothing at the moment
Toss Relic = NumPad 3
Crouch = GrayPlus
Primary Fire = Left Click
Alt Fire = Right Click
Translocator = Scroll Button down
Best Weapon = Mouse side button
Suicide = Delete key (for when I'm running from a flak whore while sporting a pistol... or when the redeemer is coming )
Disconnect = X (when the phone rings or something)
