intelli mouse

i got this intelli mouse explorer and i've been using it for quite some time but then suddenly it conks out and my computer cant even detect it...even if i reinstall the drivers...

does any of u have the same problem out there???

Are you using the USB port. If so, I think it might say it can't detect it with a message, box, but then when you say OK or whatever, it will work when Windows boots up??? (that is if you use windows) I don't really know what I'm talking about, and if you tried this, then ignore me.
