First of all, they are the 2 newest threads on the General TacticalOps, not "old dead threads".

Second, i told Darkness to use the "edit" button. There's a reason it's there. ohh and, i only consider about three people on this forum to be "l337 vets", Darkness isnt one of them.

What this spamming does is de-value what the post count & stars is meant to measure. So I guess I agree. Get rid of it, show just the sign-up date.

As for Iceman, he was just trying to recover the ~50 posts or so he lost when that monster thread was deleted. Much of that thread may have been itself spam, but it was html-based. If you think about it, it takes more effort to do one of those show-off "1337 effect" html posts than many a regular text post, especially if you're just learning the stuff...

But again, it begs the question of why post counts should matter to begin with. When you see people like Alpha5 (no relation

) & Demoncow in that "w00t" thread 04 links above, it simply demonstrates that post counts are meaningless. So I say again, just can them.
