Well, the GeForce 3 is debuting on the ****in Mac first, why I don't know. Being that nVidia is in bed with MS I can't think of why they would do this. The reason my pants are soaked is cuz I just nutted in them after seeing this. Look to the right side where it says "Jobs introduces "amazing" GeForce 3". Watch that vid!

Man, I can't wait for this years games now.

Its probably because Apple has been including Geforce's on all their systems. I don't see whats so bad about it, let the Mac users be the lab rats.

not true, mac usualy puts ATI based cards in there PCs

also Nvida is not "owned" by Microsh</a>it

I think its great. This, along with the upcoming OS X, will really make Macs competitive machines again. While I may not be a Mac user, more competition among big companies equals better and cheaper products for us consumers. So its a win-win

Speaking of competition...$600?!?!? It seems now that NVidia has gobbled up 3dfx they feel they can charge whatever they want to for video cards.

Apple seems to have stopped using ATI cards in the
past year or so with the release of the new G4s
came a wave of Nvidia cards. I dont know if this is so with the Imacs or the G3s which are still being put out.

I know MS doesn't own nVidia, that's not what being in bed together means, it means they have an association with eachother, nVidia is making the graphics and sound card for the xbox for ****s sake, that's why I'm mad. I have been waiting for this card for a long time. It was buzzed it would be out at the end of this month, now I'll probably have to wait till the summer b4 I can afford to buy it.

Guys guys, who says you have to buy it right when it comes out at that price? I'm waiting till it comes down to $400 b4 I get that sweet thing.

look at all the other cards that droped in price to almost 150 after being on the market for a month or 2. i know somebody that says he thinks it would be worth it just cause it's a geforce 3. what a moron. he says it'll be the video card to end all video cards. it'll probably be almost obsolete within a year.

Yeah I figure we all should have the GF3 on our 2001 Christmas lists..and realistically be buying them by next spring. I would rather wait till prices drop anyway, besides paying less for the technology it gives them time to sort out bugs and for game developers to have more to offer.
