Robar VS Barret
What I want to know is what the differences are between the Robar and Barret .50 cal rifles other than semi vs bolt action. (Yes, I'm talking about the semi-auto Barret, not the stripped down bolt action rifle).
examples: accuracy, felt recoil, wieght, etc. |

The Barret M82A1 is quite a bit heavier, I'm pretty sure there would be much less felt recoil with the M82, but the Robar is probably more accurate. I haven't fired either but I think that's pretty close to correct.

Barrett
The M-82a1 Barrett .50 rifle (semi-automatic) is a bit heavier, bulkier, and "not as accurate" as the robar .50 is, but, uh... it's damn well accurate enough, if you know what I mean.
The M95 (Stripped down? hardly) bolt-action Barrett .50 rifle actually has better accuracy and a higher muzzle velocity than the Robar, and it's a tad lighter as well, with less of a kick. this is mostly due to the bullpup style bolt (behind the trigger assembly), giving it a much longer barrel. But, the Robar looks more "Natural" and less "Mechanic" than the Barrett, which gives it the "Edge" for alot of marksmen. I wanna be an elven ranger, I want a life that's full of danger, |
