Im running an unpatched version of unreal and the thing just goes crazy, its impossible to judge anything accuratly when you play. Its a acer laptop with a celeron 600MHz, this cant be normal can it. Its like its in a timedemo mode but its not. How do you find out the version number? Cause I thought you couldnt run the timedemo on early versions. Also when I try to run the ver226 patch it gets an error and dies - then unreal wont run at all.

there isn't a real timedemo in the first version but it does have a "stat fps" (- the ") command witch supposidly tells you some of the same stuff but i don't understand how to read it
