im using the diamond vipertnt2 770 ultra card. the game works fine with the original drivers off the install disk, but when i try to use an updated driver (detonator, or other nvidia ones) the UT startup screen gets all garbled. anyone else have this prob or know a solution? thanks

If your using version 436 did you pick up the updated dll file for tnt cards?

I just upgrade my Vipper,but I had it working.
I was using DirectX 8 with bata NVIDIA Detonator 7.17
which I picked up from

You might want to try some older Detonator drivers
before installing DX 8 because Vipper 770 and DX 8
don't work together well. But it worked for me.
There is a DX remover program at if you want to revert your
DirectX back to DX6.
