Then I guess what I have works pretty well:
900Mhz AMD Thunderbird CPU Asus A7V Mobo 256MB PC-133 SDRAM 30.7GB Maxtor 7200 HDD using Ultra ATA/100 300W PS 3Dfx Voodoo5 5500 AGP w/ 1.04.01 beta drivers SB Live! Value Klipsch v.2 400w THX speakers Pioneer 16x DVD/40x CD-ROM HP 9510i 12x8x32x CD-RW 3Com/USR Hardware modem 3Com 10/100 NIC Madcatz Panther XL FPS joystick CTX 19" VL950ST with 4 port USB hub USB expansion card WindowsME all the latest drivers and updates My only complaint (and this is nitpicking) is the noise. But I guess when you have five fans (one on the CPU, two on the Voodoo, and two case fans) it's gonna be loud. |

I bought a 900mhz Thunderbird w/256mb SDRAM, 30gb Ultra ATA 100 HD, SB Live!, 64mb GeForce 2 GTS, 22" Sony Trinitron Monitor, Klipsch Pro media v.2 speakers (and yes they RAWK!), MS Natural Elite Pro and Optimouse...and yadda yadda yadda. If money was no object I'd get a Falcon Northwest Mach V -1.5ghz P4, Three 18gb Seagate Cheetah's in RAID 0, with a 75gb IBM Deskstar as back up. SB Live! 5.1, 32" Trinitron Monitor w/ two 22" on the side. An NV20 (I'd wait the 2 to 3 months for it to get released) 3D card with a Matrox G400 in PCI (if they make a PCI version), Klipsch Pro media v.2.1 (real soon...heh)w/ decoder and...and that's all that comes to mind. =}
You work out the money and I'll be glad to buy it...hehe. (if only... *sigh*) Lata peeps, God bless y'all. |
