How to create skins ?

I'm new into fps, and ut, but I'm getting atround. Only what I would love is, fragging around in my own skin, but I can't find any place on the net that gives me a good idea how to start/make a skin. do I need to use ? unrealed ??? can some-one please help me, (or make a skin for me)
