Text looks funny in WOT and Nerf Demos

Hello all.
This is my first post here. I haven't played the game unreal but In the last 3 days have played the demos for wheel of time and the nerf game.
Both Games run perfectly fine except maybe a white line across the top of the screen.
But All the text in the game (like the 'ESC' menus) have lines through them and are nearly unreadable.

How can I fix this?
