I'm now running the 432 patch, with the 432 fix.
(they had to go and confuse things! do we call it 432.5 or 432+ or 432B ???) The polygons>merge function no longer works. I know it takes a rebuild to see the merged faces, but they now stay split. I've tried starting a new map from scratch, and building a 1x1 terrain cube, just in case my brush was badly aligned by a tiny bit. Still no joy. Anyone else found this? Any chance they'll release a fix? Is there an Epic bug-report forum / email ? In case someone replies with 'what do you want to use that for, it's pointless', the answer is it's very handy for 2D shapes that have been extruded or revolved: two faces end up split into triangles, this function merges them back together for easier texture editing. |
