non-internet >16 bot game

Howdy all

I realize I am probably in the minority on this, but my gaming rig doesn't have access to the internet (a long and dirty tale).

However, I several maps installed that are quite large and recommend a number of players > than 16. UT's bot limit in single player 'pracice sessions' is 16. I contacted GT tech support and they didn't offer a way around this. I did try setting up my computer as a server, and modifying the minimum number of pplayers, however the setup options still limited me to 16 players.

Anyone know how to get around this?

What version do you have? Patch up to v420. V425 and v428 seemed buggy for some. In the game bring down the consile and type addbots #. (# being the number of bots you want).

Yes, I am patched to latest version.

I will try the addbot when I get home. Do i need to activate any cheat codes to do this. Also, if I do this in a game like CTF, DOM, TeamDM, Assault, will the bots I create automatically fill across teams?

No cheat codes needed. I think that as long as you have "balance teams" checked it will.

I've had over a hundred bots playing but my machine gets slow with that many.

open up your console and type 'addbot x' where x is the amount of bots you want
