Just wondering if i should install 428? Somebody posted here that he heard of ppl having editorproblems w/ the 428 patch. Also does anybody know of what changes were make to the editor in the 428 patch? I looked on the UT tech page but what was mentioned there i couldn't figure out if it was in the 428 patch or if it was gonna be in the next patch. I'm using 425 right now and don't have any problems so I don't want to go thru the hassle if 428 is just gonna be buggy or if there aren't any good editor features added.

Not that I have seen, though I started using 430 since it has more features.

Lightbulb 425,428,430???

Nothing but problems w/428 for me . . . tetrahedron function
crashes my system, rebuilds are wonky, etc. Could be my system . . . just never had any problems with previous versions . . . I don't liiike it!! And Noah, where did you
get ahold of 430 at? I have been waiting to retrieve it
since the first day I put 428 into my system.

Yeah i just downloaded 428 the day i started this thread and didn't see anything about a 430 to download, not even in beta.

I got 430 by going around to all the usual download sites (off the unrealtournament.net) and changing the 428 in the link to a 430. One downloaded.

Note: Do not download if you play online, there is a reason why it hasn't been released yet

I only edit, so it works great.

I had editing and playing problems with any version before 428. Since I had installed 405, I rarely was able to play UT longer than maybe 5 minutes because of either bot pathing (FindPathTowardsBestInventory or something) or collision detection crashes. 428 rid UT of these infestations, but if you don't have any problems, that can hardly count as an argument. I can't wait for 430 if all those new UnrealEd features really exist (which they must, or you wouldn't say it's great).
